This applies to our DEA level 3 home study course and NDEA Level 3/4 combined home study course. Future Training College will provide training materials relating to the course that you (The Learner) are paying for. By paying the course fee and completing the application form you are agreeing to the terms and conditions relating to the course you are undertaking as set out and agree to pay any charges or fees which may be applicable. The Learner (you) will have access to all material within the ‘My FTC’ area but you are not permitted to share such information without written consent from Future Training College. All material will be provided in electronic format for the Learner to download unless agreed otherwise in writing by the Training Provider. The Learner has permission to print the material but not to share such information without written permission from the training provider. The material provided is copyright and may not be given or lent to anyone other than the Learner who has completed the application form. Learners will be asked for personal information during application form stage for the course. This information will only be used for registration purposes with the awarding body. This information will be held securely and maintained under the Data Protection legislation. These home study courses provided by
Training College will not include classroom training or any face-to-face training. Specific workshops are available as part of our attended courses that the Learner may attend by paying the appropriate fee for the session the wish to attend and payment will be collected prior to any attendance.
Future Training College will provide reasonable technical support if required during our normal business hours for Learners enrolled on these particular courses. This is limited to providing e-mail replies to queries and the Learner will be provided with a specific e-mail address when they complete the application process and payment of the required fee. Exam fees are included within the cost of the course fees.
Course cancellation, change of course venue or course date change.
Future Training College will offer specific workshop courses from our Wembley Head Office. From time to time Future Training College may provide a course to a more popular location; this may include a date change.
Future Training College will advise the Learner in writing or verbally as to the course location, date and venue for the course which has been booked. In the unlikely circumstances a course date or venue changes the trainer will make every effort to contact and advise the Learner of the new arrangements. Future Training College will not be liable for any loss that may be incurred should a course be re-scheduled or cancelled due to low attendance or other unforeseeable events.
Training course Fees
All courses must be paid for in full prior to commencement of training unless otherwise agreed in writing by Future Training College in writing. Course fees may be paid by debit or credit card, cash paid into the FTC bank account or cheque or BACS. The Training Provider will charge a 2% additional fee on all credit card payments. All transactions will require a signature and identification and proof of address to be submitted.
Deposits and re-funds
All course fees must be paid for in full at the time of booking by the Learner.
When paying the fees you are agreeing to the terms and conditions enclosed. Course fees are strictly non refundable.
Assessment fees and terms
Learners are expected to submit assignments in the form of a portfolio. This must in the form of a CD with all the required evidence as outlined in the Portfolio Guidance. Learners will be charged £300 + Vat for portfolio assessment for each qualification submitted. The Portfolio CD will be assessed and feedback given to the Learner within 5 working days. If the assessment is successful in that all the required evidence is correct and to the required standard, it will be passed for internally verification. Once both stages have been completed successfully, Future Training College will apply to the awarding body for a certificate that will be posted to the Learner.
If the Portfolio evidence is deemed to be unsatisfactory, the Learner will be informed and asked to re-submit parts of the portfolio that requires additional evidence. There is a fee of £50.00 plus VAT for each occasion the portfolio is re-assessed. It is essential that Learners follow the guidance provided.
Learners have 3 months from the enrolment date to submit portfolio of evidence for assessment. Enrolment date is from the date when the course is paid for. If no submissions are forthcoming within the above timescales the trainer will deem the Learner has no intention of completing the course and will be deregistered. If the Learner wishes to then return to the course program then a re-registration fee of £250 + vat will apply and the enclosed terms and conditions will apply as if the Learner was newly enrolled.
Examinations
Examinations are held monthly at the Wembley Head Office and Learners will be given the dates when they have completed the Portfolio assessment successfully. Learners are given 1 opportunity to sit and pass the exam. If a re sit is required then a re-sit fee of £250.00 is applicable.
Return of portfolio work:
Learners’ portfolio CDs will be held at our offices following completion of the qualification. Portfolio’s can be returned by a registered courier for the sum of £5 + vat or Learners can collect portfolio CDs in person.
