The Energy Trainers is providing  2 days (Weekdays or Weekend) training course with training locations all around UK. The course is based around the Level 3 DEA City & Guilds Diploma. No previous qualifications or experience is required, however you must have basic computer skills as all assessors must input data into a software program in order to produce the energy performance certificate.
In order to become qualified you need to undertake The Energy trainers course with a Government approved provider such as City & Guilds.

Domestic Energy Assessment

Domestic Energy Performance Certificates not only outlines the cost of heating, hot water and lighting in homes, but also gives advice on how to cut these costs and reduce climate changing emissions. The EPC is mandatory and only a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor can carry out the assessment.
Upon completion of your 2 days' training course, you are required to complete a portfolio of work including examples of 5 energy performance certificates for domestic buildings. These should essentially demonstrate occupational competence. You would be doing at least 2 properties on the course itself!!!
